It's back by popular demand! I am showing more meal ideas and recipes for foods that I eat to help me lose weight. As always, feel free to tweak, add, and remove ingredients to make each idea to your liking.
This has quickly become on of my most favorite meals to cook and it is really simple to make. Protein French Toast. If you want the full recipe, click here!
Caloric value varies (approximately 350-380 for 3 slices + 2 tablespoon's SF syrup)
One of my most favorite foods growing up, especially around football season was bacon nacho dogs. Naturally, this screams tons of calories and a heart attack, but I have found a way to get the best of both worlds. Have my bacon cheese dog but in a healthy way. 2 whole wheat buns, 2 fat free hot dogs, 2 slices of turkey bacon, and 1/4 cup of 2%/fat free cheese, topped with a hint of ketchup.
Caloric Value: 350 calories
If you ever get a sweet tooth, it is totally fine. Give into your craving, but in a healthy way. 1/4 Angel Food Cake (which is a big serving), 2 tablespoons of fat/sugar free whip cream, and a handful of blueberries - the perfect snack to satisfy your craving
Caloric Value: 160 calories
Protein Granola and plain Greek Yogurt. This is a good blend of sour and sweet. Plain Greek Yogurt has a bitter taste (in my opinion) when eaten alone. However, it is very tolerable with 1/4 cup of this protein peanut butter granola. This granola is DELICOUS.
Caloric Value: 165 calories (and an astonishing 19 grams of protein)
1/2 Cup Plain oats, 1/4 cup Walnuts, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. Great source of polyunsaturated fat.
Caloric Value: 290 calories (approximately)
My favorite dinner combination: sauteed chicken tenderloins and vegetables. Both sauteed in extra virgin olive olive.
Caloric value can vary upon ingredients and normally is approximately 300-400 calories.
