I took my ideas and experiences and I began to write. I opened myself up and allowed people to judge me. I prayed and hoped for positive feedback because I was deeply scared about telling the public some of my deepest and darkest secrets such. Which include: taking triple the amount of recommended dosage on sleeping pills so I would go to sleep and not eat and taking showers with the lights off because I did not want to see my reflection. Plus so many more. The first time I started to write my blogs confessing to this, I cried and erased it, and then got the strength to write it again.
What will people think when they read that about me? Will they think I am crazy? Will they think I am a bad person? Maybe some people do and that is okay. I do not write for them. I write for the people who need and want help. I write for the person who has been where I was and still may be there. I will be completely open and honest about my life and what I have went through and what I am still going through. Such as battling those bad habits and trying to find a balance. You think you may know the full story to the journey, but I am just getting started.
Being on the "Murphy in the Morning" show was so much fun and so gratifying. The crew seeing something in my writings and asking me to be on the show was such an honor. The best part of it all is the messages and comments I have received from people. I promise to be there for all of you as much as I possibly can to help you through your journey. And I hope that you all can be there for me, as I am still learning every single day. I was so scared to tell over 50,000 people what I have been through and how hard and depressing it was growing up. But I would not change it for anything because it has made me into who I am today. Most of all it has taught me discipline, compassion, and how to believe in myself.
I love all of the messages, e-mails, and comments I have received from all of you so please keep them coming! I want to know what you want me to write about, problems you are having, and challenges you are overcoming.
Right now I have some awesome people working to make this website much better. This is my baby, and now it is time for the site to grow up some! There will be a message board on here for people to interact with one another, a section for you to sign up for a newsletter, and I am adding different tabs to have all various articles, blogs, and information on health, fitness, finances, shopping, fashion, and more! Plus, I will be adding a "cardio song of the week" so your IPod can add some fun motivation to your work outs as well as healthy recipes to keep your eating on track and delicious.
