It has been a great and strong week of training. Much better with my eating as well - not perfect, but it is slowly improving. The eating habit’s I am developing are not just for a "diet" but to always maintain a healthy lifestyle. None of that "off-season" crap either. Granted, when my competition is getting super close there will be no treating myself with less healthy food, but every once in a while I will indulge in a little extra carbs :) Healthy eating just makes me feel cleaner and improves my over all mood. I am becoming addicted to the feeling! However, when I am driving into my apartment and I pass "Hickory Tavern" I still drool over their delish wings and "chips". Luckily, my gym is beside my apartment complex as well, ha ha!
I just have to say I am SO excited about my Figure Coach! I can’t wait to get into more intense Plyo-Cardio and learn how to pose. This is like the icing on the cake. We always work hard through out the years constantly on our diet and work out’s but to start getting your posing and routine together but makes everything so much better.
I have been getting B12 injections twice a week for over a month now. I highly recommend it to anyone! I absolutely love it! I do not get them for weight loss, though it is possible the injections can "assist" with it, but I do it for the energy and to help with stress. Working 40 hours a week, working out 6 days - 4 of those with additional cardio in the morning, taking care of my apartment, always having errands to run and being 21 years old - a girl can can go into over-load. People tell me constantly I’m not Superwoman, but I don’t believe them ;)
I started doing H.I.I.T on Saturday. I am doing it twice a week. I am doing it on the tredmill because that is where I feel it the most - it’s the hardest. I start with a 3.6 walking warm up for 5 minutes, then Sprint on 7.5 for 30 seconds then Walk on 3.5 for a minute. I do that for 35 minutes then cool down with another 5 minute 3.6 walk. I know I may not be at the fastest pace right now and I will improve. I do not run much and I’m only 5′4 so this has been a challenge! Saturday when I first started I only did 30 minutes, it was too tough. Actually it was not even really that tough, but more so me not willing to push myself because I did not want to do it. It is not very fun and it’s draining, but it really works so I have to make myself do it! Last night I went for the full 45 and it was awesome! I was sweating like CRAZY and I was so tired. I felt great though. Prior to that I did morning cardio at 6:30 AM (Elliptical - 30 minutes)! So it was over-all a good calorie burning cardio day.
Today I woke up up at 6:30 a.m. did my 30 minutes of cardio on the Elliptical, got ready for work, I’m working 9-5:30, then gym for a full-upper body weight circuit and cardio. Afterwards, I have to go to GNC, Ulta, and grocery shop. Don’t you guys just love my *Rockstar Lifestyle*, but you know what? It work’s for me and I’m getting closer to my goals. Going out of town tomorrow to visit my best friend and mom and I am so stoked! I’m going to work out at the old gym I used work at as well. Even though it’s the weekend and I’m going out of town my fitness still takes number 1 priority. Go big or go the hell home, right? :)
Have a great weekend everyone!
